Job Description
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Code Inspector I . The Code Inspector I reports to the Inspections Supervisor . The primary functions of this position include: Conducting inspections of structures and materials to identify and resolve code violations Preparing detailed reports and documenting violations with photos and evidence for possible use in legal proceedings Receiving, recording, and investigating complaints from the public, staff, and outside agencies Researching ownership records, prior complaints, and applicable codes and regulations Providing information and technical assistance on inspection activities, code requirements, and courtroom testimony For a full list of duties, please review the job description . This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime.
