GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the Roseville area ! At GFT , we're not just engineering the future; we're meticulously building it. We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. What you'll be challenged to do: This position is responsible for reporting directly to construction sites to observe and document contractor's work conforms to contract requirements, maintaining project files/documentation, compiling and calculating quantities of work performed to be used in calculating monthly contractor payments, and interacting with clients on a regular basis. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Prepare Daily Reports Prepare Project Progress Reports Monitor Quality Control Testing Measure Quantities Monitor Contractor Progress Assist with Payment Applications and Change Orders Assist with Project Filing System Perform Constructability Reviews Address Technical issues in the field Inspection Team Leader Education |
Experience:
What you will bring to our firm: 10+ years of experience Associates Degree or 2+ years of continued higher education preferred Inspection Team Leader (as directed). Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) OSHA Safety Training Good communication skills Must possess a driver's license to fulfill the essential functions of the position What we prefer you bring: Preferred BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Preferred Registered Professional Engineer

Certification Preferred ACI Field Testing Certification Preferred Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $150,000
  • $180,000.
Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
