Role:

Khan And Associates Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our growing team in Miami, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of structures across one of the most dynamic construction markets in the country. If you're passionate about structural quality and have a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough structural inspections of buildings of all types and sizes in accordance with local and state codes Review and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans Document inspection findings and prepare detailed written reports Identify structural deficiencies, hazards, and code violations and recommend corrective actions Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers throughout the inspection process Ensure compliance with building codes

ASCE, ACI, AISC

standards, and Florida Building Code requirements Perform follow-up inspections to verify that corrective measures have been properly implemented

Requirements:

Proven experience in structural inspection, civil engineering, or a related field Strong knowledge of structural systems including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood framing Familiarity with Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County regulations preferred Relevant certifications such as ICC Structural Inspector Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interaction Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites throughout the Miami area
