CAA is currently interviewing for a Sr. Building Inspector for one of our client locations in South Orange County.

What You'll Do:

Perform senior-level building inspections for residential, commercial, and/or public works projects to verify compliance with approved plans, applicable codes, and client requirements. Document inspection results, communicate correction items, and coordinate with contractors, applicants, and client staff. Provide practical code interpretation in the field and help resolve construction-related questions. Demonstrate the highest quality of customer service to our clients.

Ideal candidates will have:

Knowledge of building construction methods, inspection procedures, approved plans, specifications, and applicable building codes. Ability to communicate correction items clearly and professionally with contractors, applicants, and agency staff. Experience in municipal building inspection, construction, plan review, or related building department work. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must. ICC inspection certification related to the assignment is strongly preferred and may be required by the client. Why Join CAA?
