FST TECHNICAL SERVICES QA/QC
Construction Electrical Inspector Lebanon, Indiana | Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Construction | Full-Time, On-Site Position Overview FST Technical Services is seeking an experienced QA/QC Construction Electrical Inspector to support a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. This is a field-focused quality position responsible for inspecting electrical installations and verifying that construction activities are completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, applicable codes, approved procedures, and client quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inspecting electrical systems on large-scale industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, data center, advanced manufacturing, or other complex construction projects. Key Responsibilities Perform field inspections of electrical installations throughout the construction process. Verify installation quality and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, electrical codes, project standards, and quality requirements. Inspect conduit, cable tray, raceways, grounding and bonding systems, electrical equipment, panels, switchgear, transformers, and related electrical infrastructure. Review electrical installations for proper routing, supports, terminations, labeling, workmanship, and accessibility. Monitor contractor activities and identify quality concerns, deficiencies, and non-conforming work. Document inspection findings and maintain accurate QA/QC records. Generate and track punch-list items and support resolution and closeout. Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, inspection documentation, and other project quality records. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, construction management, engineering, commissioning, and client representatives. Participate in walkdowns, system inspections, turnover activities, and construction completion verification. Support documentation required for system turnover and commissioning. Promote a strong culture of quality and safety throughout the project. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of electrical construction, inspection, QA/QC, or related industrial field experience. Strong understanding of commercial and/or industrial electrical construction practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, specifications, details, and construction documentation. Working knowledge of NEC requirements and accepted electrical construction practices. Experience inspecting electrical installations on large commercial or industrial construction projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify installation and workmanship deficiencies. Ability to document inspection findings clearly and professionally. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, commissioning teams, and client representatives. Comfortable working in an active construction environment and performing extensive field inspections. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following environments is highly desirable: Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Advanced Manufacturing Semiconductor Data Centers / Mission Critical Industrial Manufacturing Large-scale commercial or industrial construction Experience with instrumentation and controls (I&C), low-voltage systems, equipment installations, system turnover, commissioning, or electrical testing is also a plus. Journeyman Electrician experience, electrical trade experience, electrical inspection certifications, or other relevant industry credentials are strongly valued but are not required for the right candidate. HOURLY PAY RANGE
