Mileage reimbursement, commission on ancillary services, a Google Review bonus, and a clear pay progression as you advance from trainee to licensed inspector, to lead inspector and beyond.

Compensation:

$15/hr during post-licensure training, $25/hr starting with commission bonuses for ancillary services. Starting pay estimated $55,000-$72,000 per year full time.

Schedule:

Full-time or part time, 6 inspection slots minimum per week (4 hours each) We are looking to hire a Home Inspector Trainee to join our team! Responsibilities Shadow and assist a licensed Lead Inspector on real residential inspections Learn to evaluate a home's structure, roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems to LSBHI Standards of Practice Progress through a structured 8-14-week training program toward LSBHI licensure Help produce clear, accurate, client-facing inspection reports Build toward independently performing licensed inspections and additional certified service lines (sewer scope, thermal imaging, pool/spa, WDO/termite, and more) as you advance Represent Rock Solid's values on every job: Start with Service, Own the Outcome, Listen to Concerns, Invested in Our Team, Driven to Find Solutions Maintain professionalism and clear communication with clients and real estate agents on site Requirements A current LSBHI home inspectors license Comfortable climbing ladders, entering attics/crawlspaces, and working outdoors in Louisiana heat Strong attention to detail and clear written communication Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation with room for inspection tools; territory includes Baton Rouge, Hammond, and the Northshore Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field Familiarity with construction, trades, or real estate is a plus, not a requirement
