QA-Inspections, LLC is seeking an experienced Resident Project Representative (RPR) / Construction Inspector to oversee municipal water and sewer infrastructure projects in Yarmouth, Massachusetts , and throughout Cape Cod. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in municipal water and sewer construction or inspection who are committed to delivering quality workmanship, maintaining accurate documentation, and representing the owner's interests throughout the construction process. As the Owner's Representative, you will monitor construction activities, verify compliance with contract documents, maintain detailed project records, and work closely with engineers, contractors, municipalities, and utility districts to ensure successful project completion. Required Experience Applicants must have hands-on experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Candidates without relevant water and sewer construction or inspection experience will not be considered. Qualified candidates should have experience with: Water main installation and inspection Sanitary sewer main installation and inspection Sewer and water service installations Storm drainage systems Utility trenching and excavation Manholes, catch basins, and underground utility structures Water main pressure testing, chlorination, flushing, and disinfection Sanitary sewer testing, including low-pressure air testing, vacuum testing, mandrel testing, infiltration/exfiltration testing, and CCTV inspection Reading and interpreting engineering plans, profiles, specifications, and contract documents Daily construction documentation, quantity tracking, and reporting Primary Responsibilities Serve as the Owner's on-site representative during construction. Perform daily observation and inspection of municipal infrastructure projects. Monitor contractor compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements. Document daily construction activities, installed quantities, weather conditions, labor, equipment, and project progress. Prepare accurate daily reports and photographic documentation. Verify construction materials and installation methods meet project specifications. Observe utility testing procedures and document results. Identify and document deficiencies or non-conforming work and communicate findings promptly. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, municipalities, utility companies, and property owners. Attend construction meetings and assist with project documentation and closeout. Promote safe work practices and comply with company safety policies. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in municipal water and sewer construction or construction inspection. Thorough understanding of municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, profiles, and technical specifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Roadway reconstruction Stormwater management systems Pump stations Wastewater treatment facilities Concrete construction Soils and compaction Mechanical piping systems Electrical and instrumentation systems Experience using: Bluebeam Revu Procore Fulcrum Submittal Exchange Microsoft Office NICET Certification, NETTCP Certification, OSHA 10/30, or other applicable construction inspection certifications are a plus. Education Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; or Minimum five (5) years of directly related municipal construction or inspection experience.
