Job Description

Job Overview This position is ideal for
NEWLY LICENSED HOME INSPECTORS.
The Home Inspector will be responsible for conducting detailed examinations of residential properties to ensure they meet all necessary regulations and quality standards. This includes checking the structure, electrical systems, plumbing, and other critical areas. The successful candidate should be well-versed in the current home inspection regulations and be able to provide clear, concise, and comprehensive reports to our clients. Some weekend availability may be required.
Salary Range:
$50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year Benefits Commission Only Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability Insurance Hands on Training Retirement Plan Mon-Fri Schedule Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. A valid Home Inspection License preferred. Training available for the right individual. Minimum of 2 years of experience in home inspection or construction trades. Knowledge of building codes, standards of practice, and rules/regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical issues in a comprehensible way to clients. Good understanding of structural systems, building codes, and aesthetics. Ability to climb ladders, navigate tight spaces, and comfortably lift 50+ pounds. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of various residential properties. Evaluate the condition of the home's major systems and structural integrity. Identify necessary repairs and potential risks. Provide clients with detailed written reports, including photographs and explanations. Communicate findings verbally and in writing to clients and real estate professionals. Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and real estate professionals. Stay updated on current regulations and best practices in home inspection.
