We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Home Inspectors to join our team and uphold our reputation for excellence. As a Home Inspector at Heartland Inspections, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections of residential properties. You will evaluate the condition of various systems and components, including the structure, roof, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more. Your detailed reports will give clients valuable insights about the property's condition, helping them make informed buying or selling decisions.

Location:

We are currently seeking candidates to perform inspections in the Twin Cities Metro area and the Southeast Corridor of Minnesota. The work radius includes the Twin Cities Metro to Suburbs and the Highway 52 Corridor to Rochester, MN.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. Identify potential safety hazards, defects, and maintenance issues. Prepare detailed inspection reports with clear descriptions and photographs. Communicate findings to clients clearly and professionally. Transport yourself and your inspection equipment reliably to inspections located throughout the Twin Cities Metro area and/or the Highway 52 Corridor Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations. Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment regularly. Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns or questions.

Requirements:

Certified Home Inspector (or willingness to obtain certification). Prior experience in home inspection, construction, or a related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency with inspection software and technology. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to navigate tight spaces, roofs, and other challenging environments. Ability to pass a background check and an annual drug screening test

Pre-requisite:

InterNACHI-certified, ICA-certified, or ASHI-certified.
