Complete assigned inspection as scheduled by dispatchPerform scheduled inspection during the time assigned - inspect, review and submit reports according to NYS DOB code and approved drawingsUsual schedule is 7am-3:30pmPerform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

QualificationsIdeal candidates must hold certifications from ICC, AWS, NICET and/or ACI including:

ICC Commercial or Residential Certification required. Technical, Associate's, or Bachelor's Degree pertaining to the Engineering field (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, etc.) a plus.

Candidates must be familiar with the New York City Building CodeAbility to read prints and find inspection locationsAbility to produce inspection reports according to company standardsMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Reliable means of transportation necessary.

Extensive knowledge of industry standardsMust be punctual, reliable with good attention to detailAbility to work various shiftsAbility to travel numerous job sites dailyHighly motivated team player with a strong work ethicAble to communicate effectively with a variety of project managersPrepare and electronically submit daily reportsOrganized and efficientAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAuthorized to work in the U.S with a valid driver licenseAdditional Information
