Quality Control Manager/Site Safety and Health OfficerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer for a renovation project at the Mechanicsburg Naval Base. This role involves overseeing all phases of general construction to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough construction inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols. Review and interpret construction drawings to guide project execution. Oversee federal construction projects with an emphasis on quality control and safety management. Implement and manage site safety plans in compliance with OSHA and federal regulations. Coordinate with project teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and safely. Essential Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control Management and Safety in federal construction projects. Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and documents. Strong knowledge of federal construction protocols and safety standards. OSHA 30 certification or higher.EM385-1-1
certification. QCM certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5-8 years of previous federal construction experience. Ability to obtain security clearance. US Citizenship required. Work Environment The work will be conducted on-site at the Mechanicsburg Naval Base. The role involves working closely with construction teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the project. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $60.10/hr.
