Job Description
Insurance Loss Control Inspector - Field Consultant Field Consultants are primarily responsible for completing inspection surveys on commercial structures and businesses and also single family and multi-family rental properties. Field Consultants drive to locations to photograph and personally inspect the interior and exterior of facilities and operations to determine insurance exposures and identify suggestions to minimize risk. Consultants are assigned reports on a daily or weekly basis, allowing flexibility to make an efficient schedule while prioritizing the availability and needs of our customers.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording on site observations in accordance with customer-specific requirements
- Timely completion of assigned property surveys
- Communicating regularly with Regional Manager to coordinate the completion of survey in the most cost effective and efficient manner
- Coordinate the time and date of the survey with the site representative along with others in the area.
- Preparing and reporting surveys results on an ongoing basis
- Identifying and photographing potential hazards
- Uploading photos
- Taking measurements and creating diagrams
- Interviewing the Insured or site representative to finalize the reports online.
- Writing narratives about the Operations, Property and Liability of the business and location inspected.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess:- Be able to inspect property and complete reports within the allotted time frame
- Able to contact and schedule appointments with insured contacts and manage
- Ability to work from home with effective time management
- The ability to multi-task
- Ability to write narratives and suggestions with correct spelling and punctuation
- Valid driver's license, with acceptable driving record
- PC or laptop with a high-speed internet connection
- Digital camera, cell phone measuring wheel or digital measuring laser Looking for motivated self-starter and can juggle multiple inspections in a day.
