Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and building strong communication channels with parents. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing space that promotes early learning and growth. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on childhood development to support cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Manage the classroom environment effectively to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior among young learners. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to their development or well-being. Facilitate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and early literacy among preschool-aged children. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by observing children closely and reporting any suspected cases of abuse or neglect in accordance with legal requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational strategies and improve classroom practices. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork. Ability to manage a classroom environment confidently while ensuring safety and engagement. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. CPR and First Aid Certificate Bloodborne Pathogens Training TB Test Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
