Pay & Qualifications Trainee / Entry-Level ($18.00 - $21.00/hr): No prior permitting experience required. Must have a high learning capacity, strong organizational skills, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Experienced ($22.00 - $27.00/hr): Proven experience preparing, submitting, and tracking construction permits with South Florida municipalities. Top rate ($27.00/hr) awarded to candidates with verified performance and strong local agency relationships. Key Responsibilities Visit local South Florida building departments in person to drop off plans, pull permits, resolve reviewer comments, and expedite approvals. Prepare, submit, and track permit applications across online municipal portals. Collaborate directly with city officials, plan reviewers, inspectors, and project teams to keep projects moving forward. Maintain clear client communication and keep detailed records of active permits, approvals, and upcoming deadlines. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for local travel to municipal offices across South Florida. Excellent verbal/written communication and strong problem-solving skills.
