Field-based throughout Southern California with some work-from-home office duties Job Description We have an immediate opening for a Construction Stormwater Inspector / Office Coordinator to support projects throughout Southern California, such as Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside County, San Diego County, and San Bernardino County. This is primarily a field-based position involving significant driving between construction sites. The role includes performing stormwater inspections, documenting site conditions, preparing reports, coordinating with project teams, and also involves some work-from-home office and project coordination duties. Duties Perform stormwater and QSP Delegate inspections. Inspect BMPs and general SWPPP compliance. Take site photos and document deficiencies and corrective actions. Prepare inspection reports and compliance documentation. Coordinate with contractors, clients, QSPs, and QSDs. Collect samples and perform basic field testing as needed. Assist with SWPPP documents, BMP training, and compliance reports. Maintain inspection schedules, project records, and follow-up items. Assist with project coordination, emails, scheduling, data entry, and general office support. Requirements Construction field experience, construction knowledge, or a related background. Valid California driver's license and good driving record. Comfortable with extensive driving throughout Southern California. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good attention to detail and report-writing ability. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, PDFs, and web-based systems. Able to walk active construction sites and uneven terrain. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications QSP certification or stormwater inspection experience. Environmental field experience. Familiarity with SWPPP requirements and stormwater BMPs. Experience preparing inspection or compliance reports.
