• Shift Details:

• + 12-Hours Shift + Days, Nights, Weekends and Holidays + 36 hours work week

  Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Step-Down Unit (SDU) RN

• RN Duties & Responsibilities:

• + RNs will provide an intermediate level of care for patients who are not stable enough for a general medical-surgical floor but do not require the full intensity of an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

+ Patients commonly include those recovering from major surgeries, serious medical conditions such as heart failure, respiratory issues, or infections, or those transitioning out of the ICU after stabilization. + The PCU is equipped for close monitoring, often including telemetry for cardiac observation, frequent vital sign checks, and rapid response to changes in condition. + RNs will provide continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, frequent assessment of patient status, administration of medications and IV therapies, wound care, and pain management

• Minimum Qualifications
• + Current, valid, and unrestrictedCA RN license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

+ Minimum of one (1) year recent Progressive Care nursing experience in a community-based acute care hospital. + AHA BLS Certification + MAB or

CPI + LA

City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City) + Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date + Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required. + Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .
