Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Commercial Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and quality control, with the ability to analyze properties thoroughly to ensure they meet all safety and quality standards. As an Inspector, you will play a crucial role in assessing the condition of commercial properties, providing Property Condition Assessments for a majority of jobs. This position is best fit to part time work at this time.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The inspector is strongly encouraged to have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements. Expected to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods. Solid computer technology skills are necessary for report writing and communications. The ideal candidate stays current on the latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science. Punctuality, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic are also required. Salary based on experience and qualifications. Travel to the home inspection site Inspect plumbing and electrical systems Keep daily logs, write up reports and take photographs
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Commercial Inspection License 2+ years of construction, real estate, or home repair experience required Valid driver's license Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, and standing for long periods Able to lift 50 lbs May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other
