Job Description
CEI Construction Inspector STV, Inc. dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Tennessee, Chattanooga Sep 04, 2026 STV is seeking a CEI Inspector to join our Inspection Team in either Franklin or Chattanooga, TN and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned. Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
Making and checking engineering computations
Inspecting construction work
Conducting field tests
Assist with geotechnical field exploration activities
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Qualifications /
Certifications:
Minimum of 2 years of construction inspection experience
TDOT Experience preferred
Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience preferred
Possess the following certifications or the ability to obtain within six (6) months from the date of hire
TDEC Level 1 EPSC
TDOT HMA Certified Roadway Inspector
TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician
TDOT Concrete Field Technician or ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician
TDOT Radiation Safety and Nuclear Gauge
TDOT Soils and Aggregates
Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging
TDOT Intermediate MOT
10 Hour OSHA Safety Training This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Compensation Range:
$58,804.00 - $66,822.00 STV offers the following benefits
