This internship is ideal for students interested in gaining real-world transportation experience, learning about quality assurance practices, and observing how engineering design comes to life in the field. Gain real-world experience on exciting transportation construction projects
Apply standard construction and inspection techniques and procedures
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of the Transportation Manager
Perform other duties as needed
Who We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Completion of sophomore year or higher by the internship start date.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. What We Offer Paid overtime and a housing allowance provided for interns who do not reside near any of our office locations.
First-hand experience with construction administration and quality control processes.
Mentorship from licensed engineers and certified construction inspectors.
Insight into public infrastructure delivery from design through closeout.
