Through the assets and technologies WIS acquires, we will provide wellsite services aimed at optimizing and extending the life of oil, gas and geothermal wells. These services will include a wide range of well intervention services that extend from fishing and remedial to slot recovery, coiled tubing to final well abandonment and more.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and assist in the inspection of tubulars, downhole tools, rotary shouldered connections and other products to identify non-conformities Set up and disassemble work areas in preparation for inspection process Perform intense manual labor with long work hours Maintain safe and healthy work environment Utilize various inspection techniques to locate, investigate, evaluate and properly disposition discontinuities and defects Develop the ability to perform the various field repair, maintenance and salvage services for used rotary shouldered connections Utilize basic computer skills to accurately complete all inspection services related traceability documentation Any and all other job duties as assigned by Operations Supervisor Any and all other job duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector on each job
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of one-year experience in related field Experience with Hard Band Applications preferred Must be willing to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/day Knowledge of hand power tools, (i.e. grinders) Must be able to stand for long periods of time Good driving record required Excellent work ethic, demonstrated by a positive attitude and completing your work on time Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point Ability to work in adverse weather conditions Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and nonverbal communication Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities and workflow Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions Salary & Benefits WIS deeply values fair and equitable wages that enable our employees and their families to thrive.
