Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Construction Materials Testing Technician - Special Inspector, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of construction projects. Duties Perform on-site inspections and testing of construction materials such as concrete, masonry, and other building components to verify compliance with project specifications and codes Conduct laboratory tests to analyze material properties, including strength, durability, and composition, ensuring quality standards are met Collect and document data accurately during inspections, maintaining detailed records for reporting and review purposes Monitor construction activities related to concrete forming, masonry work, and general site operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Review contracts and project specifications to understand testing requirements and inspection procedures Communicate findings clearly with project teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate prompt resolution of issues or non-compliance Support quality control processes by identifying potential deficiencies early and recommending corrective actions Experience Proven laboratory experience working with construction materials testing or related fields Hands-on construction site experience with knowledge of concrete forming, masonry techniques, and general construction inspection practices Familiarity with quality inspection procedures and data collection methods in a construction environment Strong analysis skills for interpreting test results and assessing material performance against specifications Experience working with contracts or project documentation related to construction inspection is a plus Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality assurance protocols is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your technical expertise makes a tangible impact!
