$45-$65/hour DOE + Per Diem proHNS LLC is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors to support Federal Highway Administration construction projects across Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and the Mountain West. This field-based role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on construction oversight, technical problem-solving, and contributing to infrastructure projects that serve communities. What You'll Do Inspect workmanship, materials, labor, and safety compliance in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards. Maintain accurate daily inspection logs, field records, documentation, and reports. Review environmental controls, traffic control measures, and project documentation for compliance. Assist with estimates, contract modifications, correspondence, and construction progress documentation. Communicate effectively with contractors, agencies, project teams, and the public. Qualifications Strong communication, documentation, and listening skills. Valid U.S. driver's license, good driving record, and ability to work safely in varied field conditions and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Experience coordinating with contractors, government agencies, consultants, and the public. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital file management systems, and construction documentation tools. Familiarity with

MUTCD, AASHTO, ADA

requirements, construction specifications, and field inspection practices. Ability to work outdoors in varied terrain, weather conditions, and active construction environments. Expectations Construction Inspector I NICET Level III + 3 years of experience OR Associate Degree + 3 years (2 on highway/bridge projects) OR 5 years of inspection/project engineering experience Construction Inspector

II NICET

Level III + 5 years OR Associate Degree + 5 years OR 7 years of inspection/project engineering experience Construction Inspector III Licensed Professional Engineer OR Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
