Job Description

Position Overview The Crane Operator will safely and effectively operate cranes to support bridge construction activities, including girder setting, pile driving operations, formwork placement, rebar lifting, and other structural tasks. This role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities Operate hydraulic or lattice boom crawler cranes for bridge and structural tasks Perform lifts involving pile driving equipment, form systems, and heavy materials Review load charts, lift plans, and communicate with riggers and signal personnel Conduct daily crane inspections and maintain equipment logs Work closely with the superintendent and field team to ensure safe operations Adhere to OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures Assist with other construction activities when crane operation is not required Report equipment issues and support maintenance as needed
Qualifications Required:
NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification 3+ years crane operation experience in bridge construction Extensive experience driving pile Skilled in reading load charts and executing safe lifts Strong communication and teamwork abilities Valid driver's license Clean 5-7 year driving record Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and perform physically demanding tasks We are a Drug Free Workplace & an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
