Job Description
Dycos Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced RTG Crane Operator (Mi-Jack) to join our HIRAM team at Metromont Corporation. Previous experience is required. Pay based on experience. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available. Apply today at www.dycos.biz.
Duties:
- Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials and objects according to project requirements in the construction plant environment in a safe and effective manner
- Perform material handling ground man labor work as instructed
- Inspect equipment before each use to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during crane operations
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure the safe movement of materials
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, maintenance performed, and materials lifted
- Assist with rigging and securing loads using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on cranes and other equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures governing crane operations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mi-Jack, Tower and or Straddle Crane Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, backhoes, etc.
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and warehouse operations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precise movements
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
