Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Crane Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of cranes and heavy lifting equipment to facilitate the movement of materials and equipment across construction sites. Your expertise in load handling procedures, rigging, and safety protocols will ensure efficient project progress while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Operate overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment with precision and adherence to safety regulations. Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or in warehouse environments. Implement load securing rigging methods and rigging techniques to ensure stability during lifting operations. Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and hydraulic systems to identify potential issues before use. Follow all OSHA safety standards, construction workplace safety regulations, and company safety protocols during daily operations. Coordinate with team members to plan lifting sequences and ensure smooth workflow on-site. Maintain detailed logs of crane operation activities, inspections, and incident reports as required. Qualifications Proven experience operating cranes such as overhead cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, or excavators in construction or warehouse settings. Valid commercial driver's license (Class B) with experience in commercial driving preferred. Valid NCCCO (Fixed Cab Telescopic Boom Crane) or Similar Certification Strong understanding of load securing rigging methods, rigging practices, and materials handling procedures. Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and construction workplace safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on lifting equipment and hydraulic systems. Pay:
From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
