The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites or in industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while performing tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position loads as required by project specifications. Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and other heavy machinery to ensure they are in safe working condition. Collaborate with ground crew members to ensure proper signaling and communication during lifting operations. Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, including load weights, locations, and any incidents or maintenance performed. Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating equipment on-site. Assist in the training of new operators or ground crew members as needed. Experience A valid commercial driving license, Class A or B is required to apply. Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with cranes is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting minor issues that may arise during operation.
