We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver / NCCCO Crane Operator based out of our Cashmere location . If you have a Class A CDL but do not yet have your NCCCO certification, training may be available for the right candidate. About the Position This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering trusses and related materials to customer job sites. Duties may include operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, forklifts, and crane-equipped delivery vehicles based on qualifications and operational needs. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position . Start and end times may vary based on scheduled deliveries and operational needs. Drivers are generally home each night. Primary Responsibilities Safely transport and deliver trusses and related materials to customer job sites. Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with DOT and company safety requirements. Operate crane equipment when properly trained, certified, and authorized. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as assigned. Complete required vehicle inspections, driver logs, delivery documentation, and other applicable DOT records. Verify loads and delivery information prior to departure. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, dispatch, supervisors, and team members. Follow company and job-site safety requirements. Assist with staging and preparing loads for upcoming deliveries. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required. NCCCO crane certification preferred; training may be available for a qualified Class A CDL driver. Must meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements. Acceptable driving record consistent with company and insurance requirements. Forklift experience/certification preferred; ability to obtain company-required certification after hire. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Qualified candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This includes:

Regularly entering and exiting commercial vehicles and equipment. Climbing onto trucks and trailers to inspect and secure loads. Bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 75 pounds . Working outdoors year-round in varying weather and job-site conditions. Working around moving vehicles, machinery, construction sites, and uneven surfaces. Driving over mountain passes and in changing road and weather conditions. Compensation & Benefits Starting wage is $25.00-$35.00 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
