Job Description
Whiteout Site Services is hiring an experienced plow truck driver and skid steer operator for the upcoming winter season. This is a seasonal, storm-based position serving commercial properties in the Leavenworth and Cashmere area. We're looking for someone local, dependable, and comfortable working independently during overnight storms. Hours will vary with the weather and may include nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Operate pickup-sized plow trucks safely and efficiently Operate skid steers equipped with snow pushers or buckets Plow parking lots, private roads, drive lanes, and other commercial areas Apply granular or liquid de-icing materials when assigned Follow route instructions and maintain communication during storms Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections Keep equipment clean and report damage or mechanical problems promptly Document completed work accurately Qualifications Previous commercial snow-plowing experience strongly preferred Skid steer experience required Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate equipment in difficult winter conditions Reliable transportation to our Cashmere yard Dependable and available when winter weather arrives Able to work independently without constant supervision Comfortable using a smartphone for routing, communication, and job documentation CDL is helpful but not required for every position Position Details Seasonal and weather-dependent Primarily overnight and early-morning work Part-time/on-call schedule based on snowfall and icing conditions Pay depends on experience and demonstrated ability Well-maintained equipment provided Potential for additional excavation and site-work hours for the right candidate This position is best suited for an experienced operator who understands that snow work requires flexibility, good judgment, and showing up when conditions are at their worst.
