Job Overview Seeking an experienced Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Operator & Locator to join our team. We are looking for qualified, dependable professionals who can work independently, and as a team, can communicate effectively, and take ownership of their responsibilities in the field.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS

Proven experience operating HDD equipment and performing locating duties Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and bore profiles Strong understanding of line, grade, depth, and utility crossings Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and effectively problem-solve Strong communication skills with both field crews and management Must keep management informed of production, progress, field conditions, and any issues that may affect the work Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic Ability to work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and production standards Ability to work professionally as part of a crew and independently when required Experience with underground utility installation is preferred We are looking for someone who understands that successful HDD work requires planning, communication, accuracy, accountability, and the ability to make sound decisions in the field. The right candidate will be someone management can rely on to show up, understand the plans, operate and locate safely, communicate issues promptly, and help keep the project moving.
