In this role, you will be responsible for operating specialized drilling equipment to create precise boreholes for utility installations, foundation work, and other construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that underground work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while honing your heavy equipment operation skills. Duties Operate bore drilling machines and related construction machinery with precision and safety awareness Follow detailed plans and specifications to accurately drill boreholes and pull back conduit for utilities, foundations, or other underground installations Utilize utility locating tools to identify existing underground utilities before drilling to prevent damage or accidents Assist with construction grading, excavation, backhoe operation, loader operation, and water truck duties as needed on-site Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and maintain a safe construction environment Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and water trucks Familiarity with utility locating techniques and tools to identify underground utilities accurately Ability to interpret construction plans, and technical specifications effectively Excellent understanding of construction site safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving preferred Construction site experience with a focus on utility work, excavation, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of federal construction safety standards and best practices for working safely around heavy machinery Join us in building the infrastructure of tomorrow!
