Job Description
Job Summary Our company, a leader in the electrical engineering and construction industry, is seeking an experienced Directional Driller/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating directional drilling equipment and be capable of handling all aspects of horizontal directional drilling for underground utility installations. Responsibilities Operate directional drilling equipment for pipe installation ranging from 2" to 24" Connect and install appropriate tooling and drill heads Read and interpret utility plans and locate existing underground services Perform hand digging, potholing, locating, and drill operation as needed Operate other construction equipment as required Adhere to safety protocols and project timelines Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and field personnel Requirements Minimum 3 years of directional drilling experience Strong working knowledge of Vermeer equipment and HDD techniques Class A CDL (required) Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Must pass pre-employment drug screening Compensation & Benefits Competitive wages based on experience Medical insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid vacation Opportunities for advancement
