Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Underground Driller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate and manage underground drilling equipment to facilitate excavation, utility installation, and other subsurface construction activities. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and precise drilling operations that meet project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate underground drilling machinery with precision, adhering to project plans and safety protocols Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of drilling equipment, including other heavy machinery such as backhoes, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment Assist with construction utility work by locating utilities using utility locating tools and ensuring safe excavation practices Support excavation activities by operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, graders, and water trucks for grading and site preparation Execute horizontal drilling operations for utility installation or directional boring projects Collaborate with team members to ensure construction site safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met at all times Requirements Proven experience operating underground drilling equipment in a construction setting Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety regulations on-site Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving and transporting heavy equipment or materials is preferred. Skilled in loader operation, excavator use, backhoe operation, grader operation, water truck management, and dump truck driving Knowledge of construction excavation techniques, and utility locating methods Experience with horizontal drilling techniques and equipment is highly desirable Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and site plans for accurate drilling placement Construction site experience with a focus on utility work or infrastructure projects is preferred Join our team as an Experienced Underground Driller and become part of a dedicated workforce committed to excellence in construction.
