Job Description

Overview You will need experience in operating small to medium sized drills. Operating Track Hoes & Vactron's while ensuring equipment & personnel safety. This also requires high efficiency while delivering top-notch results on site. In possession of a Class A CDL License is required for these positions. This is all local work in the KC Metro. No traveling required. We are not relocating new hires at this time. What you'll do Operate drilling equipment, including horizontal drilling rigs, to execute drilling plans effectively. Manage and maintain heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, directional drills, vactrons and various trailers. Collaborate with team members to coordinate construction activities and adhere to project timelines. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards. Transport materials and equipment using commercial vehicles, including dump trucks as required. Assist in other construction tasks as needed to support project completion. Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, equipment usage, and site conditions for reporting purposes. Basic qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) for operating vehicles on construction sites. Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on safety protocols. Preferred qualifications Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
