Directional Drill Locator and drillers Confirm bore path with install supervisor and drill operator Perform job site analysis Ensure proper clearances to install the product per standards Oversee laborers and/or crew members work/time usage Operates Directional Drill for installation of underground cable conduit. Ensures safety of the public and other utilities underground facilities. Performs all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and uses appropriate safety equipment. Setup and cleanup of work site including traffic and pedestrian control. Reads utility locates. Ensures all applicable permits and locates are complete on site. Inspects the work that is in progress to ensure that the workmanship conforms to specifications. Operates construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications. Operates vehicles and equipment operations from trucks to other equipment as directed and certified. Performs proper maintenance by greasing, oiling, and making minor repairs on equipment. Leads teams in the field effectively and efficiently as needed and directed by supervisor. Laborers Assist crew in daily task of excavation, trenching and installation efforts. Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality service and timeliness in daily operations. Operate and maintain construction equipment and assigned vehicles. Locate/stake work areas prior to digging. Skills Learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations. Pursues everything with energy, drive and a need to finish with pride. Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions. Is personally committed to continuous improvement. Listens and communicates effectively with managers, peers and clients both written and verbally. Requirements

• Drill Locator Operator- at least 2 -5 years of experience in horizontal drilling. Clean driver license.
