SCION Drilling LLC is hiring experienced Diamond Core Drillers (HQ/PQ) for an existing mineral exploration drilling programs located south of Elko, Nevada. Applicants must have prior diamond core drilling experience (HQ/PQ). Applicants without previous diamond core drilling experience are unlikely to be considered for this driller position. Programs involve mineral exploration core drilling in varied terrain and geological conditions. Multiple positions are available for an active program, with potential for ongoing work across additional exploration projects. SCION Drilling operates exploration drilling programs across the western United States and focuses on safe operations, high core recovery, and well-run drill programs. Experience on rigs such as Boart Longyear LF90, CS14, CS1000, Discovery, or similar exploration rigs is preferred. We are seeking experienced drillers who take pride in operating safe, efficient drill sites and working as part of a professional crew. Responsibilities Operate diamond core drilling rigs safely and efficiently Manage daily drilling operations and drilling crew Maintain accurate drilling records and daily reports Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment Work closely with geologists and site representatives Maintain a safe and organized drill site Requirements Current MSHA certification (Part 46 or Part 48) Previous diamond core drilling experience Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to run a safe and organized drill site Ability to work in remote field environments Drug & Alcohol Policy SCION Drilling maintains a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy .
