Rochester, NY We're partnering with a fabrication shop that is hiring a CNC Machine Operator to support drill-line and general shop operations. This is a good fit for someone who is mechanically inclined, can read a tape measure, and is willing to help with fabrication and material handling when machine work slows down. What You'll Do Operate CNC and drill-line equipment Set up and monitor machine work Read measurements and use a tape measure accurately Handle structural steel and shop materials Help with cutting, drilling, grinding, torching, and fit-up Cross-train on other machines and shop processes Keep working during downtime by helping with fabrication, cleanup, or material handling What They're Looking For CNC, drill-line, plasma-table, or fabrication experience preferred Structural steel experience is a plus Ability to read a tape measure Willingness to learn and cross-train Comfortable working with heavy materials Reliable, hands-on, and team-oriented Why You'll Like It $21-$25/hour depending on experience First-shift schedule Overtime available but not required Variety of machine and fabrication work Opportunity to learn and grow Benefits include 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and employer contribution #
