Job Description

Key Responsibilities Operate horizontal directional drilling (HDD) locator equipment in accordance with industry standards Plan and guide drill bore paths for the installation of conduit, duct, and underground cable Identify and monitor obstacles, including existing and unmarked utilities Ensure all utilities in the construction path are properly located and potholed Understand and adapt to varying ground conditions (rock, clay, sand, cobble, etc.) Adaptability to changing weather and terrain conditions Perform general labor tasks such as potholing, equipment setup, conduit placement, and setting pedestals Document completed work and maintain accurate job records Maintain clean and organized job sites Work efficiently to meet project timelines Track and maintain accountability for tools and materials Required SkillsQualifications Experience with horizontal directional drilling (HDD) locating Knowledge of underground construction and safety practices Ability to work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to work independently and follow directions Physical ability to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout the workday Valid driver's license (Class A CDL preferred) Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to travel as needed Ability to pass a drug screening and background check Authorization to work in the United States Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Profit Sharing
