Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Drill Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Drill Operator will be responsible for safely operating drilling equipment, performing routine maintenance, and completing drilling activities according to project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Operate drilling rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently Perform drilling operations according to plans, specifications, and site conditions Inspect, maintain, and perform minor repairs on drilling equipment Monitor drilling performance and adjust operations as needed Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements Assist with site setup, breakdown, and cleanup Maintain accurate daily logs and drilling reports Work closely with supervisors, crew members, and site personnel Identify and report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly Job Requirements Proven experience as a Drill Operator or similar role Knowledge of drilling methods, tools, and equipment Ability to read and understand drilling plans and instructions Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and demanding conditions Ability to work long hours and travel to job sites if required Valid driver's license (CDL preferred, if applicable) Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance skills Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Certification or formal training in drilling operations Experience in construction, mining, geotechnical, or water well drilling First Aid / CPR or safety certifications Experience operating multiple types of drilling rigs Employment Type Full-time Overtime may be required based on project needs
