This role is critical to the success of our projects and requires a professional who can operate equipment efficiently, read bore plans accurately, maintain equipment, and uphold strict safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on HDD experience, strong situational awareness, and takes pride in delivering quality work the first time. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Additional hours and schedule flexibility may be required depending on project demands.

Full-Time | Hourly What You'll Do Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment safely and efficiently. Execute bore paths according to project plans and specifications. Read and interpret bore profiles, utility locates, and construction drawings. Monitor and adjust bore depth, pitch, and direction throughout drilling operations. Maintain drilling fluid systems and ensure optimal drilling performance. Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues in the field. Coordinate with locators, spotters, supervisors, and crew members. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and jobsite requirements. Assist with jobsite preparation, restoration, and cleanup activities. Complete required daily reports and project documentation accurately. QualificationsRequired Proven experience operating Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) equipment. Ability to read bore plans, utility maps, and construction drawings. Knowledge of underground utility installation procedures. Strong understanding of safe drilling practices. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Valid driver's license. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding work. Preferred CDL License. Fiber optic, telecommunications, utility, or pipeline installation experience. Existing safety certifications. Bilingual (English/Spanish). What Makes You Successful at ACG?
