Operator Assistant

The Operator Assistant (OA) assists the operator in Tubing Testing and Scanning Services as needed. The OA will work with the operator to get the truck ready for testing/scanning, set up for testing on location, work on the rig floor or paint pipe/lay down pipe, and help pack the test/scan truck up to return to the shop, and help clean the unit and tools for the next job. All work is to be performed safely and correctly. OA is a position where one can learn the testing and scanning process and become a test or scan operator. We want the OA to learn how to operate through on-the-job training, safety, and a willingness to learn. We are looking for an individual who is willing to get dirty and learn a valuable trade in the oil and gas industry. Triumph Testing operators are among the best in the testing industry and are willing to teach and coach the test and scanning process.

Requirements:

▪ Physically Fit - Be able to lift 50 lbs. ▪ Able to climb a derrick up to 120 feet. ▪ Able to stand and bend over for extended periods. ▪ Able to work more than 40 hours and 5 days a week, and on weekends when scheduled for duty. Willing to stay out of town occasionally. ▪ Punctual. ▪ Willing to work and work with others. ▪ Able to take instructions and learn. ▪ Work as a team member. ▪ Clean Driving record, drive and operate equipment safely.
