This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential remodels, ensuring high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. As a key member of our crew, you'll bring precision, craftsmanship, and enthusiasm to every task, contributing to the creation of smooth, durable walls and ceilings that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools to ensure accurate placement according to construction plans and schematics Finish drywall surfaces by applying mudding (joint compound), taping, sanding, and texturing techniques to achieve seamless walls and ceilings Repair damaged drywall or surfaces by patching, sanding, and refinishing to restore structural integrity and aesthetic appeal Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute framing, metal stud installation, and fixture mounting Install trim carpentry elements such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and other finishing details with precision Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure environment for all team members Assist with related tasks including plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or water damage restoration as needed to support project completion Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately for precise execution of tasks Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., knives, trowels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), and specialized equipment used in drywall finishing Knowledge of construction estimating principles for material requirements and project timelines Strong understanding of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and safety protocol adherence Skilled in interpreting technical drawings related to metal stud framing, fixture installation, masonry work or remodeling projects Experience with related trades such as carpentry (frame carpentry), plumbing (construction plumbing), painting (construction painting), or restoration industry practices is a plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals with construction site experience who are eager to develop their skills further while contributing to high-quality building projects.
