Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated framer/Laborer to join our team. This position requires a hands-on individual who is experienced in various aspects of construction and carpentry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. CHS performs varying tasks of construction such as framing, rot repairs, siding, decks, stonework, tile work, drywall, painting, trim, etc.

•Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. A skills test will be required upon application approval. Duties Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. Perform flooring installation, ensuring precise measurements and quality finishes. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Prep tile work for flooring in kitchens, bathrooms, etc. Prep areas for all forms of flooring. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures for insulation and aesthetics. Support electrical work as needed, including installation of fixtures and wiring. Act as a maintenance person for miscellaneous repairs and maintenance tasks on-site. Execute construction painting tasks, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished. Carry out frame carpentry duties, constructing frameworks for buildings or structures. Skills Proficiency in the use of power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders. Experience with flooring installation techniques and materials. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Familiarity with masonry practices, including mixing mortar and laying tile. Skill in caulking applications for weatherproofing and sealing. Basic understanding of electrical systems relevant to construction projects. Versatile maintenance person skills for general repairs beyond carpentry. Competence in construction painting methods, including surface preparation. Expertise in frame carpentry techniques for building structures.
