Position Overview We are seeking an Construction & Renovation Technician to join our team and play a critical role in the renovation and upkeep of our multifamily communities. This position is hands-on and focused on executing unit renovations, property improvements, and general maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, high-quality living environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will have proven renovation experience across flooring, drywall/painting, kitchens, bathrooms, and tile installation, with the ability to deliver work efficiently, on budget, and to a high standard of quality. Key Responsibilities Renovation & Unit Upgrades Perform flooring installation and repairs (vinyl plank, tile, carpet). Complete drywall repairs, finishing, and painting. Execute kitchen and bathroom renovations, including cabinet, countertop, fixture, and tile installation. Handle punch-list items to prepare units for occupancy. General Maintenance & Repairs Perform plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work within skill scope. Assist with appliance installation and repair as needed. Support exterior property upkeep, including common areas and amenities. Project Support Work alongside the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to carry out renovation schedules and capital improvement projects. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Coordinate with outside vendors when required. Qualifications 3+ years of construction, renovation, or skilled trades experience (multifamily or residential preferred). Proficiency in flooring installation, drywall/painting, tile work, and kitchen/bathroom remodeling. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Ability to read and follow work orders, blueprints, or renovation plans. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
