In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing techniques to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless, and professional results across various residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Duties Finish drywall surfaces by applying joint compound (mud), tape, and texture to create smooth walls and ceilings that meet project specifications. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall installation and finishing tasks. Prepare surfaces by sanding, trimming, and repairing damaged drywall or plaster to ensure optimal adhesion and appearance. Utilize hand tools such as trowels, knives, sanders, and taping tools as well as power tools including drills and airless paint sprayers for efficient work. Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry elements, doors, fixtures, and perform related tasks such as caulking and stucco application. Perform drywall repairs and water damage restoration to maintain structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Qualifications Proven experience in drywall finishing with a solid understanding of drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair techniques. Experienced with construction workplace safety regulations and the safe operation of hand tools and power tools. Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and water damage restoration is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in drywall texturing and plastering. Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions effectively. Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects is advantageous. Details 1st shift
