Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leesh Untangler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of wood and construction materials, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace, and supporting various carpentry and restoration projects. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality craftsmanship on residential and commercial sites, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, construction, and restoration industries while working alongside experienced professionals. Duties Safely handle, organize, and untangle wood planks, trim pieces, and other construction materials to facilitate efficient project workflows Assist with the preparation of construction plans and blueprints to support carpentry and framing tasks Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately Support installation activities including door hanging, fixture installation, siding, drywall, caulking, stucco, flooring, tile laying, and masonry work Aid in restoration projects such as water damage repair, mold remediation, rebar installation, concrete forming, and reinstallation of damaged structures Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and tools regularly while adhering to power tool safety protocols Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and assembly projects to ensure safety and efficiency Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, or carpentry preferred but not required Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and power tool operation Hands-on experience with woodworking techniques including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, masonry or remodeling projects Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or confined spaces as needed Familiarity with wood construction materials such as siding, studs, rebar, drywall panels and related products Experience in restoration industry tasks like water damage repair or mold remediation is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in the construction field Join us if you're eager to grow your expertise in residential carpentry and restoration while contributing to high-quality building projects.
