In this vital role, you'll be responsible for inspecting completed work, identifying deficiencies, and coordinating with trades to ensure all punch list items are addressed efficiently. Your technical skills and construction knowledge will help deliver high-quality finishes and flawless project completion. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while honing your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of homes or business's to identify incomplete or defective work, including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and finishing details Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify that work aligns with project specifications and standards Document punch list items clearly using Bluebeam or similar digital tools, ensuring accurate tracking of deficiencies and repairs needed Coordinate with subcontractors and tradespeople to communicate punch list items and facilitate timely resolution Perform quality control checks on completed work such as drywall installation, tile laying, plastering, concrete finishing, and fixture installation Assist in verifying that all repairs meet safety standards and building codes before project handover Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and completion status for project documentation Requirements Proven experience in construction management, inspection, or related roles with a solid understanding of building processes and finishing trades Strong knowledge of construction estimating, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and building codes Hands-on experience with drywall installation, trim carpentry, flooring installation, roofing, masonry, welding, tile laying, plastering, concrete forming/finishing, fixture installation, restoration work and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with electrical work, plumbing systems, painting techniques including construction painting and caulking Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on various tasks such as drywall hanging or cabinetry installation Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues across multiple trades accurately Effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams and document findings clearly Join us if you're passionate about ensuring construction excellence!
