In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw construction projects into polished, visually appealing spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling to new builds, utilizing your skills in drywall finishing and related construction tasks. Duties Apply joint compound, tape, and finishing materials to drywall surfaces following blueprint specifications and construction plans Smooth out surface imperfections using hand tools such as trowels, knives, and sanding equipment Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately install drywall and related materials like stucco or plaster Use power tools and heavy equipment safely for cutting, sanding, and finishing drywall panels Install fixtures, moldings, or trim as needed to complete the aesthetic of interior surfaces Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet project standards and client expectations Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes and ensure seamless project flow Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation specific to drywall finishing and construction work Strong knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes Experience interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans accurately Skilled in dimensional measurements, tile masonry experience, caulking, gutter installation, and fabrication techniques Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and markup is a plus Ability to follow safety protocols including ladder use and proper handling of construction materials Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, framing carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, and fixture or cabinet installation enhances versatility Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients Experience in remodeling projects or construction site experience that demonstrates adaptability in various environments Join our team if you're passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced setting!
