Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, polished appearance that meets high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills in drywall texturing, taping, mudding, and repair to create flawless interior finishes. Duties Finish drywall surfaces by applying joint compound (mud), tape seams, and sand to achieve a smooth finish suitable for painting or further decoration Perform drywall installation tasks including hanging sheets on walls and ceilings using hand tools and power tools Texture drywall surfaces with techniques such as spray texturing or hand finishing to match project specifications Repair damaged drywall by patching holes, cracks, or water damage restoration as needed Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall and related work Install trim carpentry elements such as baseboards and crown molding to enhance interior aesthetics Collaborate with team members on metal stud framing, plastering, tile laying, and fixture installation to ensure cohesive project progress Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure environment at all times Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair within a construction setting Knowledge of construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics for accurate project execution Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., taping knives, sanders) and power tools safely and effectively Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics related to drywall framing and finishing tasks Experience with related trades such as carpentry, plastering, masonry or remodeling is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in drywall texturing and finishing techniques Join our team today if you're passionate about creating flawless interiors!
