Springfield Fix It is a growing home improvement and remodeling company serving Springfield, MO and surrounding areas. We specialize in high-quality kitchen and bathroom remodels, flooring, painting, drywall, home exterior, and handyman services. We're looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson to join our team and grow with us.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of residential remodeling and repair tasks including painting, trim work, flooring installation, drywall, staining decks, power washing, and light plumbing or electrical during bathroom/kitchen remodels.

Responsibilities:

Install or repair baseboards, trim, and doors Lay vinyl, laminate, or tile flooring Power wash decks, fences, and exteriors Stain decks and apply protective coatings Repair and install drywall, including patching and finishing Assist with bathroom and kitchen remodels (tub/shower installs, vanities, tile) Follow safety procedures and clean up job sites Communicate professionally with clients and team

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of painting, flooring, drywall, and general remodeling Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders when needed Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic tools preferred (company may provide specialty tools)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Schluter shower systems Previous subcontractor or handyman experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM (full-time)

Compensation & Benefits:

$20•30/hour depending on skill level and role
