Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Woodstove Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing woodstoves and related heating appliances in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, building codes, and customer expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with construction materials, technical schematics, and customer service, contributing to warm, comfortable spaces for our clients. Responsibilities Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other hand tools to prepare installation sites according to specifications. Install building materials such as drywall, tile masonry, stucco, or trim carpentry as needed to prepare spaces for stove placement. Use power tools and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks including cutting, fitting, and securing components. Provide excellent customer service by explaining the operation of installed units and ensuring client satisfaction upon project completion. Requirements Proven construction experience with skills in carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, roofing, or remodeling projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to heating appliances; experience with fixture installation is preferred. Strong dimensional measurement skills combined with attention to detail during installation procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about project progress and safety considerations. Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders safely, and work in various environmental conditions throughout the construction site.
